Anil K. Sharma, M.D.Dr. Anil K. Sharma graduated from Charing Cross Medical School in London, England. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Highland Hospital, a major teaching affiliate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Sharma was selected by his peers to receive the Jacob Holler, MD Annual Resident Award. He completed his GI Fellowship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist. |
Dr. Sharma is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and has received numerous teaching awards. He currently serves as Chief of Gastroenterology at Highland Hospital, and is a Trustee of the Highland Hospital Board of Directors. Dr. Sharma's gastroenterology interests include colorectal cancer screening, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease and diseases of the liver. Dr. Sharma is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Sharma enjoys tennis, and traveling with his wife and three children. |

Paul S. Dziwis, M.D.
Dr. Paul S. Dziwis received a BA in Biology, a Doctor of Medicine Degree, and completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Dziwis is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist.
Dr. Dziwis is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. His gastroenterology interests include colorectal cancer screening, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease and diseases of the liver.
Dr. Dziwis is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
George Y. Kunze, M.D.
Dr. George Y. Kunze received his Master of Arts degree from the University of Rochester with a major in Economics. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Kunze completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital, and is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist.
Dr. Kunze was awarded the Best Resident Research Award, and received Teaching Assistant Honors in Neuroscience. He is also professionally certified as an Aviation Medical Examiner.
Dr. Kunze's gastroenterology interests include colorectal cancer screening, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease and diseases of the liver.
Dr. Kunze is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Kunze enjoys aviation and spending time with his wife and two children.

Bushra G. Fazili, M.D.
Dr. Bushra G. Fazili received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, an
d her medical degree from Upstate University in Syracuse, New York. She trained as a resident and Chief Resident in the Department of Internal Medicine, University of Rochester School of Medicine. She also received her GI Fellowship from the University of Rochester and is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist.
Dr. Fazili has received many honors and awards including the Milton S. Lauria Award (an award given to young residents), an Honors College Scholarship, and the Howard Hughes Undergraduate Research Fellow Award.
Dr. Fazili's gastroenterology interests include colorectal cancer screening, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease and diseases of the liver.
Dr. Fazili is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Fazili enjoys traveling with her husband and two children.

Michael E. Kader, M.D.
Dr. Michael E. Kader received his undergraduate degree from Canisius College with a BS in Biology. He r
eceived his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, and completed his GI Fellowship with the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Kader is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist.
Dr. Kader has received many honors and awards including the Hearst Foundation Award, the Canisius College Earning Excellence Program, Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, Who's Who Among American College and University Students, and the James A. Gibson Anatomical Honor Society.
Dr. Kader's gastroenterology interests are in all GI procedures including ERCP, colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and capsule endoscopy. He is trained in Hepatology with a wide exposure to pre-transplant and post-transplant patients.
Dr. Kader is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Kader enjoys time with his wife and daughter, classic car restoration, bicycling, and fly-fishing.

Jonathan I. Goldstein, M.D.Jonathan I. Goldstein, MD, a board certified gastroenterologist, is a native of the Rochester area, and a graduate of the Brighton School District. He attended Dartmouth Medical School where he graduated with honors. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. He completed his GI Fellowship at the University of Colorado at |
Denver. There he received the Freedman Award for excellence in education as exemplified by his academic achievements, clinical abilities, and leadership skills. Dr. Goldstein enjoys time with his wife and three children, skiing, cooking, and exercising. |
