Is pleased to announce that Jonathan I. Goldstein, MD, a native of the Rochester area and a graduate of the Brighton School District, joined our office in July, 2010. He attended Dartmouth Medical School where he graduated with honors. |
He then moved to Boston where he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, an affiliate of Havard Medical School. |

He completed his GI Fellowship at the University of Colorado at Denver. There he received the Freedman Award for excellence in education as exemplified by his academic achievements, clinical abilities, and leadership skills.
Dr. Jonathan Goldstein is accepting new patients at 919 Westfall Road, Building C, Suite 100; Rochester, NY; and in Canandaigua at 495 Main Street North. Please call his office at 271-2800, extension 221 to schedule an appointment for either location.

Gastroenterology Group of Rochester, LLP serves Rochester and the surrounding area with three office locations. The main site and Endoscopy Center is located in Brighton. GGR has satelllite offices in Batavia, Canandaigua, and Victor. Procedures are done in the GGR Endoscopy Center, Highland Hospital, FF Thompson Hospital and at The Jerome Center.
Established in 1999, GGR's health care providers include five board certified gastroenterologists, one board eligible gastroenterologist, a physicians' assistant, nurses and medical assistants. The entire staff is committed to delivering compassionate care while providing colon screening, diagnosis and treatment for gastroenterological disorders.
GGR's Brighton Endoscopy Center is certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. GGR has also been recognized by
The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for Promoting Quality in Endoscopy .

Colon cancer remains the nation's second leading cause of cancer-related deaths after lung cancer and the third most common cancer in men and women separately--despite growing awareness in recent years.
